Love the shotgun but…

I love everything about the shotgun except I am having issues manually ejecting a live shell from the barrel. Everything works as expected when fired but manually unloading with the operating handle doesn’t work or takes several times, 15 seconds, of pulling on the handle to get the shell to eject, if it does at all. I’ve tried at least 3 different types of ammo manufacturers and it happens with each brand.
