Savage 64 Takedown
The Savage 64 Takedown is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 LR with a 16.5 inch barrel and 10+1 capacity. It uses the Model 64 straight-blowback action with a takedown design for easier transport and storage. A black synthetic sporter stock, matte blue barrel, and an Uncle Mike's Bug-Out bag complete the package.
The detachable 10-round box magazine feeds a consistent blowback action. Open rifle sights are included, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope. A two-position safety and a 1:16 twist barrel keep the rifle simple for plinking and small game.
At 36.25 inches overall and 4.5 lbs, the 64 Takedown stays light for new shooters and field carry. The takedown barrel makes it easier to pack than a one-piece 64. This rifle is suited to plinking, small game hunting, and travel.
